Overview
The App Builder in DataStripes lets you create interactive dashboards by combining a wide variety of widgets, all powered by your spreadsheet data. Build, customize, and share analytical views with just a few clicks.
Building a Dashboard
- Switch to App Builder mode from the main menu.
- Drag and drop widgets onto the dashboard canvas. Widget types include:
- Charts (line, bar, area, pie, scatter, radar, candlestick, etc.)
- KPI Cards, Tables, Waterfall, Variance, Distribution, Correlation
- Kanban, Calendar, Gantt, Map, Gallery, Record Navigator, List
- Dashboard Filters, Forms, Voice Analyst, Custom Widgets
- Configure each widget:
- Select the data source (sheet and range)
- Set properties (labels, colors, aggregation, etc.)
- Add filters or formulas for dynamic content
- Resize and arrange widgets by dragging their edges or moving them on the canvas.
- Widgets update automatically when the underlying data changes.
